Pitbull worth the wait

Hundreds of adoring fans filled Club Nokia to see the Raggaeton superstar

Pitbull made his most recent LA appearance Saturday night at the "Club Nokia" in the L.A. Live. Complex.

The doors opened at 7pm for an 8pm start time, however the opening act was no more than a boring DJ spinning current radio hits, the crowd grew impatient and "BOOS" could be heard all around.

Around 9:30 the curtain on the stage closed to a roar from the crowd, but the wait continued as the DJ continued for another 15 minutes.

Finally, the curtain opened to a DJ announcing the arrival of the guest of honor.

When the opening beats rang through the theatre, the crowd went into a frenzy as their anticipation had grown out of control.

By the time Pitbull worked his way through the wildly popular hit "Sticky Icky," from his critically acclaimed album "Boatlift," they had forgotten all about the wait.

Pitbull removed his coat and asked if the crowd was ready to "party like a rockstar, look like a movie star, play like an all-star and F*#k like a porn star" leading into his top-100 track "Go Girl."

The performance was fast and energetic, with minimal downtime between his hit songs.

Pitbull kept the crowd in the palm of his hand leaving nobody disappointed.

As the show drew to an end, you could feel that nobody wanted to go home.

While the night was bogged down with delays and boos, there wasn't any complaining as I left.
